I went to Auckland

... and got my visa! I also drank coffee, stared out of windows and marked essays. It was lovely.

5 reasons why living alone rocks.

1) When I forgot to put the rubbish out today, I didn't have to apologise to anyone. I'm only hurting myself.

2) Eating off the lid of a container cos I know it's me who'll be doing the dishes.

3) Playing the same songs over and over on repeat.

4) The shower head is exactly where I left it (pointing to the wall so the floor doesn't get wet).

5) Going to bed at 8.30pm.

There's also lots of things that I'm not enjoying about my sweetie being gone. But let's focus on the positive shall we?

I took this picture of a restaurant when I was home visiting the fam. I know it's not perfect, but all I can think about is how much nicer my new camera is compared to my old camera. Imagine how good photos will me when I get good at manual! Exciting times.
